Grace Harger, once known as “baby hope,” recently turned two. Grace was placed into the safe haven box at the Coolspring Township Fire Department in Michigan City on Nov. 7, 2017. Shortly after her drop off, she was placed with Misty and Phil Harger, who eventually adopted Grace on May 24 of that year. Indiana’s very first Safe Haven Baby Box baby is thriving with her adoptive parents.
